Covid-19 Policy

Safety First and Foremost

Staying safe at Warrnambool Osteopathy

Current Covid Rules: Masks are optional for patients and Osteopaths. Patients should come alone if possible, except for carers accompanying the vulnerable, and parents accompanying children. Please try to arrive at your appointment start time, and do not attend more than 5 minutes early for your appointment. You MUST NOT ATTEND the clinic if you are suffering from cough, cold, flu or fever symptoms, or have had a positive Covid test within the last 7 days, under any circumstances.

Treating and serving the community of Warrnambool and surrounds is an absolute privilege, and patient safety is always the most important consideration at Warrnambool Osteopathy.

Due to social distancing guidelines, we allow 15 minutes between each patient so that there is time to thoroughly disinfect and clean all surfaces and common areas before we see you. This also serves the purpose of making sure there is minimal crossover time where patients are in the building at the same time. Although we consider social life to be an integral part of overall health, at this current time it’s important to minimise unnecessary contact between patients.

Installed in the treatment room is a Radic8 Hextio air filter. This is proven to kill viruses, including SARS, and is used by dentists, medical practitioners and other health clinics around the world. The Hextio both filters the air and treats with UV to kill viruses and bacteria on one pass through the machine. This is a precaution only, as patients are asked not to attend appointments with any viral symptoms.

We ask that patients DO NOT ATTEND if they have fever, sore throat, runny nose or cough or cold symptoms, for the safety of other patients and also the practitioner. We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone displaying these symptoms on attendance.

Please pay by card when possible.
